So no more remote feature?

I upgraded my Tab 4 8.0 Wifi to lollipop and it seems Samsung has discontinued watchon which lets me use the built in IR sensor to control my tv . They said to use peelsmart remote instead but peelsmart remote says it doesn't work with my tablet. Does anyone know of a remote app that will work with this tablet or is this a continued feature for this tablet now.
