So we now know KIES can restore the G530AZ to stock (as described elsewhere)- which is good, because the firmware is not available for download anywhere I've found. This raises 2 questions:
1 - is there a limit to
(A) how many times KIES will restore a device with a given serial number or
(B) how long KIES will be able to pull the firmware from Samsung to 'firmware upgrade and initialize'?
-2 is it possible to
(A) find where KIES saves this information upon download and save it to be Odin flashed if needed later or
(B) pull the factory image off the phone following a KIES reset- again, so it can be stored, shared, and Odin lashed later if needed
Surely, all of us Cricket users would love to be able to use the same Odin solutions as the rest of you. :highfive:
